Amy Schumer |
The movie centers on the story of Amy, played by Amy Schimmer, who leads a very, shall we say, colorful life. She has a sort of steady boyfriend Steve, played by John Cena, who is funny but you do get to see a lot of him...as in if you think his wrestling briefs are tiny then you do get to see most of the the parts that are normally covered up with them

Amy and her sister, follow different paths. Kim is happily married and helping to raise a young step-son. On the other hand, Amy's behavior is full of pot smoking, heavy drinking and lots of one night stands. Amy works for a man's magazine geared towards articles about outrageous male behaviors. The magazine editor, Dianna, is played by Tilda Swinton who is provocative, opinionated and totally bizarre. Amy is assigned a story to write an article about a famous spots doctor, Aaron Conners. But they hit if off and start dating. Aaron falls for her, but her wild ways impact his life in a negative way. Aaron's best friend is played by Lebron James, who The Travelling Toe has learned is some sort of famous ball player. He does bring a lot of fun to his role.

Also Amy's father, who is in a nursing facility due to his MS, dies, which throws her into a downward spiral. She and her sister argue and their relationship is strained. When Aaron can't take her wild behavior anymore he leaves Amy. Then to make matters worse she is fired from her job. Amy begins to think she needs to make positive changes her in life. She stops smoking pot, gives all her liquor away and stops sleeping around. Amy and Kris, who is now pregnant, make up and forge a new friendship.

Amy works up a scheme to win Aaron back by having LeBron tell him to meet me him at center court. When Aaron shows up, the ball clubs dancers come in dancing with Amy being part of the group. After attempting to dance, she then jumps on a small trampoline to try to make a slam dunk but instead slam dunk's her face to the floor. Aaron runs to check on her and she tells him she loves him and is really working hard to make chances in her life. And the movie ends on a happy note.
