Gone With The Wind Remembered Museum
The Travelling Toe joined with members of a certain women's social group, who enjoy wearing hats of a red color, and toured the Gone With the Wind Remembered Museum in Cleburne TX.
The museum is made up of GWTW treasures of Vicky Lynn Rogers, who has been collecting these items for over 30 years. On display are original costumes, scripts and other memorabilia from the movie. Also as part of the exhibit there are various types of items associated with the actors, cast members and crew. The Travelling Toe spied her favorite object of all the things in the museum in a large display case of costumes and other items. Way in the back of the case was the Carol Burnett doll dressed in the infamous costume of green velvet and a curtain rod.
This museum is a fun reminder of a special movie. Be sure to stop in at the very nice gift shop for your own special GWTW souvenir to take home and begin your own collection.
The Museum is open Thurs - Sat 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Senior rate is $5.00.
