The Myrtles Plantation in St Francisville, Louisianan is said to be one of America's most haunted homes. It has been featured in many reality TV shows that search for ghost activity. The Travelling Toe and friends toured the plantation home during the daylight hours and did not happen up a ghost during the course of the tour. Our amiable tour guide was very informative and shared a lot of the history of the house with us, both good and bad. It is said that "Chole", one of the main ghosts of the house, likes to take women's hoop earnings and the reason why she does this is....no, no, no..... you will just have to go and find out for yourself. The Travelling Toe does not reveal old secrets. Behind the house is a small cafe and gift shop where you purchase your tickets for the tour. Cabins have been built on the property for guests to enjoy time at the plantation while ghost hunting and other fun activities plus the Myrtles is in fact a working B&B. Mystery tours are held most Fri and Sat evenings. And don't forget Halloween Night!
